A Bit About My Packaging

I struggle with the choice between the truly beautiful and the useful. Next, add in the desire to minimize my carbon footprint and my head spins. I have opted to use very recyclable packaging because I can live with that. The canning jars are part of my everyday life. I make jams and jellies, sauces and pickled vegetables. I think the canning jars are beautiful, they symbolize conservancy, food security and the appreciation of the bounty afforded us if we are willing to work for it. I want you to feel as though you are doing good in the world by enjoying these natural products in practical, recyclable packaging.

You will see that my labeling is minimal and basic, I use old denim (indigo) to attach the tag. I have added a few details to help you buy again; my website and the product name. I encourage you to remove the labels and clean out the jars and vials to use them for clever storage; like those extra buttons that come with clothes or safety pins because when you need one you need one, the vials can hold rubbing alcohol to carry around to clean a scrap or cut. Simply rinse out the jar/vial with rubbing alcohol and you are recycling!!
